Malissa Murguia is a senior bankruptcy paralegal with more than 8 years of bankruptcy experience, mostly in Chapter 11 reorganization work. She joined the firm in 2005 and received her paralegal certificate in 2006. In addition to drafting motions for the attorneys to refine, Malissa is an expert in electronic filing. She is qualified in several Districts around the Country.
Before joining the firm, Malissa spent several years working for a litigation firm giving her a broad base of knowledge. She uses this knowledge to guide and help train the firm's other paralegals. Malissa is an invaluable resource not only for the attorneys, but also for clients who need a quick answer to many different types of questions.
Malissa enjoys taking care of her family, watching movies and finding those rare quiet moments when she can lose herself in a good book.
